PNX8935 Development Platform

MDS-225

The MDS-225 is a full featured development platform for the NXP Semiconductor's pnx8935 device, offering a rich platform for the development of video products that require support for analog and digital (SD and HD) standards.

The MDS-225 can also be used to develop software for the pnx8932, which is a SD only version of the pnx8935.

Applications are developed under embedded Linux running on an embedded MIPS32 processor on the PNX8935. Standard Linux APIs are used to control operation of decoders and to render the results to the screen.

While designed for use as a platform for IP STB applications, the MDS-225 can be used for developing a wide range of systems.
