Momentum Data Systems continues its leadership with Nexperia/TriMedia boards, systems, and development tools containing PNX1500, PNX1700, PNX0190, and PNX9520 families of media processors* from NXP Semiconductors. Each family of devices contains several different part numbers -- for example, the PNX1700 family includes PNX1700, PNX1702, etc.

We provide PCI plug-in cards, standalone systems, and JTAG tools. We also provide board-specific MDS software support packages that contain example/test software, driver source code, boot eeprom source code, build scripts, and full documentation including MDS product manuals, and data sheets for the main peripheral devices. Our packages also include technical support.

Our products are fully supported by the standard NXP Semiconductors NDK/TCS/MPTK development tools. We sell "full" development kits that include the MDS product and the NXP Semiconductors development tools.

Our PNX1500/1700 based PCI cards can be used as development platforms or as deployment platforms. As development platforms plugged into your development PC, they provide an easy way to debug your algorithms and processing code, even if the final target is your own custom stand-alone hardware. Since our PCI cards meet PCI specifications for trace length and signal loading, unlike some other brands of Nexperia-based PCI cards, depending on your volume and price requirements, ours may be used as ready-made OEM hardware deployment platforms for your custom software applications.
