We find most customers welcome occasional emails that are concise and relevant: but if you prefer not to receive such email we provide for you to simply reply and ask that we removeyou from our email list.

How we use email addresses

If you provide us with your email address, through registering on this web site or by sending us an email message, we assume that email is a convenient means of communication for you - and will send occasional concise emailings. We will not pass your email address to others, nor will we abuse the communication by too frequent, irrelevant, or too long emails.

What emails we send

If we have your email address, and you have not requested us not to use it, we may send you occassional emails (usually not more than one each month) if we have relevant news on our products or new technical notes. Our guidelines for such messages are that they should:

be not more than a dozen lines
have a clear subject line
give a web URL for more details
be from a named individual
explain how to remove your email address

We find that the vast majority of customers welcome this contact and find it a useful and non-intrusive way to be kept up to date.

How to report an annoying email

Our emailings should always include the name and email address of the individual who originated them. A simple reply is sufficient to have your email address removed from our database, or to register a complaint in the event that you found it annoying. If not, then you can send us a message from this web page to register your concern.
